Dear Friend Timothy Needs A Heart Transplant
Donation protected
One of the most uplifting, positive men I’ve ever met needs a new heart. I received this text yesterday that he is sending to loved ones. “I must have $5000 to match the heart transplant foundation’s $5,000 which will be for my medicine once the transplant is done. I am asking each individual for $100. Thanks to everyone for your support. God bless”. I would like to add some ease to this my friend’s life attaining this goal.
This man completely turned his life around. I met Timothy in downtown Atlanta in 2014 while he was homeless. I was running a catering company and he approached our gate looking for food and shelter. Immediately I felt his warmth and asked if he had a phone, then for his number. I could offer food but needed to check on the shelter as my boss was out of the state.
Since 2014 my brother has gotten himself into an apartment, bought a car and among other things has become a deacon of his church. Almost every single morning for 7.5 years I’ve awoken to a positive, enlightening message from Tim. Sometimes, his word. Sometimes a psalm. Sometimes an insightful meme, but always something. This man never wavered unless he was unconscious in the hospital. Even from his hospital bed he was counterintuitivly positive. He asked how my family was, he asked about my day and told me how blessed he was to be able to type. This man is a gift.
Timothy had pain developing in his chest for years before he finally required a Phybulater to live. This alone was a massive surgery and took massive strength and faith to survive. He has been working for years and doing physical therapy working towards his heart transplant. It is now that time.
I am asking anyone who has the ability to please help me in assisting this beautiful man attain his goal, plus a little extra for Instacart deliveries and assistance post surgery.
Not to make this about me but in 2020 I suffered severe depression. Timothy was one of the very few who was able to get words into my soul while I was broken. He had a massive impact on my still current existing. I promised him I would always help if ever given the chance.
Thank you very much for your time.
