Death of Fellow Snap-on franchise Ian Pendlebury

Donation protected
Team and Franchise Brotherhood we have recently lost a great one due to cancer and this event was abruptly sudden.  Ian Pendlebury was a legend in the Snap-on world.  He was with Snap-on for years and years originally starting out in the UK and then immigrated to the US in 1987 where he held multiple positions in Snap-on management and as a Snap-on franchisee.  Most recently he was a franchisee in Aiken, SC and prior to that was a franchisee in the Atlanta market.  Ian was loved and adored by all that he came in contact with in his daily business.  I have basically known Ian for my entire Snap-on career and he was leader and mentor to all he touched in the Snap-on world and his personal life.  Some comments about those that knew Ian:

"A man I'll never forget. Made my first dealer ride with him.  Told me I'd make a great tool man.  Was a great and fun guy to spend time with.  He will be missed.  So sorry to hear this sad news. "

"He was a TRUE Snap-on legend.  He will be missed greatly!!"

"Ian was a mentor to me when I first started a Field Manager many years ago.  He was always a positive and inspiring role model.  I will definitely miss him."

"Sorry for the loss.  Ian was always super nice to me!  Prayers for his family!"

"The picture included in this post is how I will always remember him.  The cheerful Englishman with an incredibly positive attitude and a TRUE Snap-on man!"

"We have lost a great friend.  You will be missed my friend.  You always brightened our day Ian!"

"Ian was a great man, I have much respect for him!"

"Our families have been close friends for over 30 years.  I loved Ian very much.  He was a hard worker, good husband, father and grandfather.  He will be missed, but not forgotten."

Ian's death was SUDDEN and unexpected by all, but his heart and soul to the core was his family, church and Snap-on.  Ian was the epitome of a TRUE Snap-on legend as he ate, drank, bled and sweated Snap-on.  All of his assets went into the business and he has left his wife, Susan, in need at this time.  Upon his abrupt death, it was determined that he did not leave many finances for his family and NO life insurance.  As you can tell from the above comments,  Ian was loved by all he touched and I am asking that you donate to a Snap-on family at this time in need.  The funds will be handled by his widow Susan for burial purposes and future residual costs and expenses.  I am asking each of you to help surpass this goal together as again all of his assets went back into the business.
