Deb Hirsch’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On Monday, July 11, 2022 our mother, Debra Hirsch; was involved in a head-on collision in Linwood, MN. She was 15 minutes from home when a high speed pursuit involving a stolen vehicle, illegally crossed lanes of traffic on a county road, ultimately hitting her head on. Both of the cars involved immediately started on fire.
As she (our mom) was on the way home from the cabin, she had both of our dogs in tote. Their choice of seating in the car was always the front passenger seat. Due to the brute force of impact; one of our dogs got lodged and pinned underneath the dashboard. She has passed away due to severe internal bleeding and injuries. Our other dog is in stable, yet still critical condition at an ER vet in Oakdale.
Mom walked away with non-life threatening injuries, yet still sustains a broken toe, 5 fractured ribs, and is banged up with cuts and bruises from head to toe. She will be in the trauma center for the next few days undergoing tests and scans.
Due to the severity of this crash, and the expanse of vet bills we have already dished out of pocket; we are asking for help. To our knowledge, neither suspect has insurance to cover any of theses damages we are now facing.
Please continue to keep Deb in your thoughts and prayers. Any help that you could provide to our family is deeply appreciated.
