This fundraiser has turned into a Memorial dedication for Deb:

Funds will be split between

1 - Dedication plaque at the Sedona Humane Society

2- Dedication plaque at the Sedona Public Library

3- Funds put toward medical bills

Deb Lovejoy

As some of you may have heard, Deb is in the hospital. She had a major stroke last Tuesday(7/11) and was airlifted to Phoenix to remove a clot in her brain. The surgery was successful but her left side was paralyzed and she is unable to speak. She is currently in Prescott at a rehab facility for therapy. Based on how she does there, the next steps will be taken to best fulfill what she wants.

Deb will not be returning to work, so thank you to all who enjoyed her pedicures and services over the years. Deb inspired and touched many lives, we know she has a special place in your heart. Thank you for being her friend!

Jasper, her dog is being cared for by a friend.

Many of you have asked to visit her or send flowers and cards. Unfortunately, Deb adamantly does not want any visitors or gifts. She is frustrated and doesn't want to be seen in her current condition.

We set this page up as a place to give you updates on her progress.

So in lieu of flowers or visitation, if you want to make a donation on this page, you are welcome to. (not required at all)

Whatever funds that are raised here we will split and donate in Deb's honor to the following places.

1- Sedona Humane Society (where Deb adopted her dogs)

2- Sedona Public Library (Deb visited often)

3- If able, we would like to plant a tree or dedicate a bench by Sedona Schnebly's grave, since Deb visited there often and has such a strong connection to Sedona.

(we will post photos of the donations when they are made)

4- Funds applied toward medical bills

**Update - many of you have emailed asking that your donation go to help debs medical or personal bills. Please leave a note with your donation if you prefer this option.

We are also open to any suggestions of ways to honor Deb and her deep connection to the city of Sedona, which she has called home for over 25 years.
