Deb Moran's Bone Marrow Transplant Journey
Donation protected
Fifteen years ago, Deb Moran was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder. This diagnosis however, has never brought Deb down. She has taken every opportunity to make an impact and she has been such a blessing in so many lives. Last fall, Deb was referred to Mayo Clinic, and became a candidate for a bone marrow transplant After a few months of searching, a perfect match was found in her brother, Jeff Kalbakdalen. This is where her journey begins, and we are standing in faith with her and believing that Deb will see her miracle. Starting tomorrow, March 5th, Deb will have 5 days of chemotherapy to kill all damaged cells. After the 5 days, Jeff's healthy bone marrow cells will be injected and the grafting process will begin. This process will take between 3-4 months in which Deb and Frank are staying at the "Gift of Life" transplant house in Rochester, MN. Please keep Deb and Frank in your prayers during these next few months. If you would like to donate to help offset any out-of-pocket expenses for Deb and Frank, this account has been set up on their behalf. We appreciate all of the prayers and support for both Deb and Frank, and will continually keep you all updated throughout Deb's entire journey.
