Update on 12/22 My mom is still intubated and is having some issues cognitively. They will be taking her to a CT scan today to rule out any issues with the brain. Please continue to pray and send positive thoughts. I have increased the initial fundraising goal because you all have been so amazing. These funds will mean they do not have ANY financial stress for a few months which is such a blessing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi, my name is Jaimee Beach and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents Jeff and Debbie.

Last Thursday my mom went in to have a spinal fusion surgery. It was successful but by Saturday morning she was in severe sepsis from a perforated bowel. She had to undergo emergent surgery to remove a bunch of her intestines. From here they had to leave her abdomen open and hope to stabilize her enough to go back in and reconnect everything. Luckily that has been a success.

As I write this she is still in the ICU on a ventilator. Her vitals are good but there is a LONG road to recovery ahead.

My mom is my fathers full time caregiver. A lot of you that know me know that my dad had a kidney transplant earlier this year in March. He has also suffered from multiple strokes. My mom spends her life making sure he makes his doctors appointments, takes his medicine and keep their home together. Her main source of income is through providing care for him.

As you can imagine things are likely going to become financially difficult until she is back on her feet. Even a small donation goal will help at least pay a month of their bills and relieve some of the financial stress from this.

I want to personally thank you all for the support, positive thoughts and tremendous prayers you have showered on myself and my family. We are a small family so feeling your love has been powerful.
