Debbie Barron Cancer Funeral Fund
Donation protected
My mother, Debbie Barron, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She ended her battle with ovarian cancer as peacefully as she could. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, we are seeking assistance with the funeral costs. Our life insurance policy was rushed and will not cover the entirety of the funeral expenses. You can donate here or contact me (info below) directly.
There are too many people to thank individually for all the support thus far. You know who you are.
For more information, you can email [email redacted], message Bene Garcia or Kingpins-UlyssesKS on Facebook, or call/text [phone redacted]. You can also send donations via Venmo or CashApp:

**** From earlier in the year****
Short: Your friend, Tia, sister, prima, and work buddy Debbie Barron has Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. We need your help.
Long: My mother, Debbie Barron, has been fighting Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer for the past two months. The transformative shock of realizing our mom has cancer is something Jeremy, Josh, myself and our family are still processing. Our Tia Susana just survived lung AND pancreatic cancer, so we're hoping my mom can also beat this thing. My mom has had two rounds of chemo and has four more to go. She has been shown tremendous generosity thus far. Despite the direness of the situation, she has kept the same poise and grace she has had her entire life. A silver lining of this shitshow has been how many people have told us "I love your mom."
Though my mom is putting up a fight that is inspiring to see, several unforeseen financial obligations are surfacing every day. Without busting out our monthly spreadsheet, I can say that we cannot do this without help. We were going to try, but we just can't do it alone. We know that most of this help will come from our family and friends in Ulysses, KS.
About Debbie: Debbie was born in Ulysses, KS on April 26, 1961. She is the mother to Bene, Jeremy, and Joshua Garcia (yes, those notorious 3). She has three grandchildren, Helios, 13, Athena, 10, and Aurora, 5. Her sisters are Diana Olivias, Susana Barron, and Maggie Ledesma. Her brother is Frank Barron. She has several nephews and nieces. Debbie has had several adventures throughout a good chunk of the United States. She loves game shows, country music, UB40's cover of Elvis Presley's "Only Fools Rush In", cooking, walking, Keanu Reeves movies, and is big on Catholic faith. She is emotionally intuitive and is one of the best listeners to ever bless this rock. Both of her parents passed away from lung cancer.
