Donate to Help Debbie Swick
Donation protected
We are a group of friends and neighbors of Debbie Swick, an Alameda native in need of help. Debbie has spent most her life in the house she grew up in, on the corner of Union and Lincoln. (You may even know her from the friendly greeting she gives to anyone passing by her front porch!) Unfortunately, it’s time for her to move out of her house, which is unlivable due to structural damage and the loss of power and water.
Debbie is in need of immediate financial aid. She just moved out of her house on January 13th and is staying temporarily with generous neighbors. Our group is helping her look for a forever home for her and her cat, Roeger. Any money donated will be used for housing, food, clothing, medical bills, and other basic necessities to help Debbie during this time of transition.
Debbie is such an integral part of our Alameda community. Any amount you can give is very much appreciated. Even if you aren't able to contribute money at this time, we'd appreciate if you shared this donation page with family and friends. Thank you!
