In mid July at a Drs Appointment Debbie was advised she had COPD she was given some meds and was to follow up in a few weeks. However on Sunday August 13th Debbie was rushed to the hospital with issues breathing, she was put in ICU were they found she had quite a lot of fluid around her lungs, she was then later transferred to a bigger more equipped hospital where further tests were done. This is when we were told Debbie had lung cancer. She was unaware of this herself, she was told there was not much they could do and we were going to discuss with her the next day, however on August 14th at 9am Debbie lost her fast battle with lung cancer. Even if found months ago Drs said they wouldn't even have been able to help in palative chemo one of the masses were the size of a softball.
Debbie was that loving person who would turn a blind eye and would always try to help those in need, she would do anything she could for family, friends anyone she cared about. She often gave selflessly to help even if she didn't really have the ability to, she did this because it made her happy knowing she tried to help.
It’s hard to find anyone as loving and caring as Debbie was and we were definitely fortunate enough to have been a big part of her life. There is an abundance of love and we will cherish our memories forever, and our only hope now is that she is at peace, reunited with her loved ones on the other side. We will do our best to continue doing what she did best Taking care of dad-her husband Walter Morgan. Debbie loved her bingo, bowling, watching the jays game geez don't talk while the game was on or it would be a yelling match if ahe missed something. Most of all Debbie loved spending time with her family and friends.
Debbie was the one who gave so much to everyone else, now we want to take care of her, she deserves is a proper send off and we want to be able to take some of the stress off her Husband Walt who now is on his own. With it being so sudden there was a lot that was not in place yet. There is a lot to be done and such of it cost a lot
As we try to plan what would have been their 50th anniversary Walt wants to continue with that celebration and hold a celebration of life Sept 16th details to be added later please feel free to contact Tina or Terry at below informationif you want info to attend, the harsh reality is that death is not cheap.
