Debbie's Cancer Fight Fund

In February 2013, I found out that the person I consider a second mom, Debbie Finazzo, was diagnosed with stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  But Ms. Debbie has always been a fighter and after going through surgery and multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, she was declared cancer free. This was great news and we knew from her original diagnosis that she had a 75% chance that the cancer would never come back. So we all prayed. We prayed that she would be part of that 75% and that her breast cancer battle would be over. So when Ms. Debbie got sick a couple weeks before Christmas last year, we all held our breath, and hoped and prayed for the best. Unfortunately, we found out the cancer had returned in her lungs. But Ms. Debbie fought through it refusing to give up and always wearing her strong face. After 7 months of chemo, she went in for a final PET scan to make sure the cancer was out of her lungs. It came as bittersweet news, the cancer was out of her lungs, but has spread to her brain. Today (July 13th), Ms. Debbie will have brain surgery and after recovery will go through brain radiation to fight the cancer. Since December 2014, Ms. Debbie has not been able to return to work and won't be able to for the forseeable future. Those of you who know Ms. Debbie and the Finazzo family know that they are totally against accepting handouts and charity, even though they are always the first to give to others in need. So that’s why her family and friends are setting this up for her because she would never do it for herself, no matter how much they need it.
