Debbie's Austrian Adventure - Bucket List Trip

STORYTIME
Our Mom, Debbie, has always given to others and rarely wants for anything. She is fun, vivacious, a bit kookie, but moreover, she exemplifies warmth and kindness. Over the course of her life, she has yearned to travel to Austria because she feels a deep connection due to her lineage.
This year she turns 70 and we would love to give her the trip of a lifetime, but we need a little help! Of course, she won’t be able to travel due to the pandemic, but by raising the money she will have something exciting to look forward to. We would love to raise enough money so she can spend 11-14 days traveling through the area, which means of course airfare (can we raise enough for first class?), lodging, food, and of course a few mementos.
THE TRIP!
We want to fly her SFO to London or Paris, then take the train to Austria. Why not fly directly? Well, round trip air to Austria is super pricey, but also it gives her the opportunity to enjoy another city or two while on the trip, and she can enjoy the sights during the ride. In addition to that bonus – the shorter and more broken up the travel, she can stretch more frequently to ensure she is comfortable the entire trip.
Whether she lands in London or Paris, from there she will depart to Salzburg to spend 3 days enjoying all that it has to offer. Then a quick sojourn to a mountain town for 2 nights to enjoy the Alps, before heading to Vienna for 5 days to enjoy all the amazing city has to offer!
We have some many fabulous ideas for excursions, restaurants to try, etc- but of course it just depends how much we can raise with your help.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Well, that’s simple! You can donate any dollar amount you can. We know that the pandemic has it most everyone very hard – but hey, even if it’s a few bucks, multiply that by a bunch of people – we can get her the trip she wants!
Another way to help is to SHARE this fundraiser. We ask that you don’t just throw it on Facebook, because… (SHHHHH) it’s a surprise! If you share, send in an email, Facebook messenger, or HIDE it from her view. The more people we engage, the more we can give.
WHEN?
We ask that donations are submitted by March 6th at 5pm. We are going to be doing a little Birthday Celebration that evening and would love to share this with her then.

Honestly, we can’t thank you all enough for any contribution you can make toward this gift. Currently, we set the goal at $5000 but have an extended goal of $7500 (that would be a more luxurious trip: i.e. First Class airfare). We will update everyone if we pass our first goal.
