Debbie’s battle to beat pancreatic cancer

Approximately 1 month ago my beautiful mother in law Debbie was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer. On December 15th she will start an aggressive 12 week regimen of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and kill any that may have spread, following this she will undergo major surgery to remove it and then start another 12 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy.

They say it takes a Village, but we need the whole damn city! Debbie is important to many people and wears many hats. She is a Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Mom and her proudest title is Mawmaw to her 7 grandchildren.

Debbie and her husband Dennis raise 2 of their grandchildren, and Debbie is the main provider for the family as Dennis is disabled. This obviously is the absolute worst time for this with Christmas being 2 weeks out and she is now out of work, but this is just the beginning of a long battle to beat this. She will be out of work for minimum the next 6 months but probably longer.

At this time, I would like to ask for your help. No matter what it is, big or small, every bit will help them. The bills are going to start stacking up and short term disability will barely cover their mortgage. And last, but definitely most important, say a prayer for Debbie as she takes on the biggest fight of her life.
