Debbie’s Road to Recovery: How You Can Help
Donation protected
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to share that my sister Debbie was involved in a serious car accident on March 24 in Denver, Colorado. She was a passenger in the car, and unfortunately, she sustained significant injuries, including a spinal injury, fractured sternum, and a severely damaged wrist, which required immediate surgeries. Thankfully, she is stable and alive, but her recovery will be long and challenging.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help, and we are so grateful for your kindness and support. With Deb being in Colorado and our family in Maryland, we are working to coordinate care for her during this time. There are several expenses, including travel for family members to be with her, accommodations, rental cars, supplies, and lost wages while Deb is unable to work during her recovery over the next 6+ months. We will also need to arrange her transport back to Maryland when she's able to travel.
If you'd like to support in any way, we would be incredibly thankful. Any contribution, whether it's helping with some of these expenses or simply sharing this message with others, will go a long way in making sure Deb gets the care and support she needs.
Thank you so much for all the love and prayers you've already sent Deb's way. Your generosity, whether in thoughts or actions, means the world to us as we get through this challenging journey together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Rebecca Pompa
