Debbie Rollins Memorial Fund
Debbie Rollins was a soft-hearted, compassionate, amazingly intelligent professional woman; a hard-working, dedicated paralegal of 43 years at Ronald D. Keener Co. She’s the momma to my best friend, Amber Rollins. And if you know either one of them, you quickly find out the loving close bond they share. They were best friends. As a professional, she was the go-to person in and around New Lebanon for any and all legal issues, problems, questions, and overall confidant to many. Debbie never hesitated to help those that needed advice, favors, no matter how big or small. And let’s be honest, she did a LOT of work for many people for FREE of charge, because that’s just who she was (She even got me out of a ticket once or twice). Spending so many years in the law field gained her many associates & clients, but most of the time they became friends. After 4 decades, she was the face of the office as she was the face you saw first. “Deb” was always needed for some question or piece of advice and she dropped whatever she was doing to help. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer on October 26, 2020, and the doctors knew it was serious as other masses had metastasized to two other areas. She remained loyal to her office and clients, trying to get work done when she was able despite her deteriorating physical condition; she had one chemo treatment and it didn’t help. She lived SEVEN WEEKS…and passed on December 13th. All she wanted was for her daughter, Amber, and granddaughter, Kylee, to not have to worry about a house payment, medical bills, etc. Amber is now unemployed but wants to honor her mother’s wishes. With everything happening so fast there was time to make plans. So please donate and let’s help Debbie’s daughter and family keep their home & pay off the huge amount of medical bills.
Debbie dedicated herself to those in and around this community for 44 years so now as a community let's all be there to help her daughter, Amber, and family like Debbie helped all of us a time or two!
