Deborah Waters Memorial Fund

This fund has been established in the name of my wife, Deborah Jordan Waters, to collect and distribute donations in support of medical research seeking a cure for LeioMySarcoma (LMS).
LMS is a rare cancer that can start in one place, be very unpredictable and can spread widely all over the body. Currently it is a resistant cancer meaning it is not very responsive to chemotherapy or radiation.
As a "rare" cancer LMS does not receive the same level of funding of equally debilitating cancers and as such receives less research funding in our quest to find a cure.
To that end, proceeds from donations raised will be contributed in the name of the Deborah Waters Memorial Fund to organizations and/or research teams dedicated to finding a cure for LMS.
In addition, a portion of funds will be donated to Kaiser Martinez Hospice, an organization who provided exceptional care and comfort to Deborah, myself, and our family and friends during her battle against LMS.
Together let us win this battle against LMS in support of organizations focused on eradicating this debilitating cancer.
