Debra Baker Benefit

Hello Out There! Debra Baker, previously Debra Parker, has been a lifelong resident of Brown County, Illinois. Debra's parents, Darrel & Mary Parker, raised their family with strong morals, a big dose of humor, and a love for music. She married Jon Baker in 1987, and their love story is still going as strong as ever. They have raised four beautiful daughters, and have six grandchildren. Throughout her years, Debra has made an incredible impact; This is seen not only in the local community, but also in the hearts and memories of those who have been lucky enough to call her a neighbor, friend, sister, or even mother. Her amazing sense of humor and unending strength have helped her throughout her life. This is true now more than ever, as she is fighting the "Big Fight". In December of 2021 Debra was diagnosed with liver cancer. Her first round of radiation treatment was completed in March of 2022. She has an unwavering willingness to help others, but now it is her turn to be on the receiving end. Through the months of treatment, while balancing other health issues, her positive attitude has carried her and her family through.
