Debra Cwalina’s House Fire

My name is Jill Hudak and Debra Cwalina is like a sister to me. Last night she experienced a devastating house fire. Despite the amazing efforts of all the first responders and their associated departments, her house sustained significant damage and will require an estimated 8-12 months to be livable again.

Deb gives and has given so much of herself to others by way of teaching our children, past and present, via Make-A-Wish for many, many years, she was a devout parishioner at Holy Name/St. Mary’s and held the position of Youth Minister (which is where we became family) and high school catechism teacher. Her helping hands have reached far and wide and selflessly. She has never asked anything in return. She has never expected anything in return.

I am asking anyone who is able to help her in her time of need to please consider doing so. She would never ask, but I know she will sincerely appreciate it. Insurance will handle the bulk of the repair but not alternate housing and other miscellaneous needs until she can get back into her home.
