Deb's ALS Benefit Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Deb Bullis Lamoree was diagnosed in July 2016 with ALS. She is the 11th person in her family to be diagnosed with this horrid disease. She lost her beloved brother just about a month before she herself was diagnosed. Her community got together under the direction of a childhood friend who came back into the picture when her brother died, and raised a great amount of money to assist in her care and expenses as this disease progressed. However, this childhood friend, "allegedly" embezzeled about 90% of the money that was raised. Now Deb is suffering from the decline of this deadly disease and every day lives with the knowledge that someone she thought of as a friend literally stole her well-being out from under her. Every expense that she has, is now compounded by the fact that she would have the money to cover it had this person not stolen it from her. Having a deadly disease is bad enough, but having someone steal from you when you are at the lowest point in your life is just unthinkable. Since almost all of the money raised was cash, there is very little chance of recovering it, the authorities do not offer much hope, and meanwhile Deb continues to decline and the debt continues to rise. Can you help her out? Could you be a member of her team of angels? Can you make her situation better, by being a contributor? Please help right this horrible wrong, and let my friend know that there are angels out there as well as the demon who stole her well-being.
