Deb’s Story

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, our beautiful mum lost her sight 18 months ago and has gone completely blind in her right eye. Since last year, she’s been having continuous bleeds in her left eye causing her to lose her sight for weeks/months on end leaving her completely blind in both eyes! Something that is so heartbreaking to witness and so frightening for her! At the beginning of the year we had a bit of a breakthrough.. the bleed cleared up, giving her her sight back in one eye and we have been over the moon. She was planning her life again… ready to go back to work, days out that she’d missed and most of all, to make memories with her grandchildren who she adores. Unfortunately this past week her bleed has come back and our mum, our world, has no sight whatsoever yet again. This has shattered her/us and she has had to come to the decision not go back to work. She loves her job and this has been such a hard decision for her but her job is demanding and there is no possible way of her being capable with her condition. So we are asking for your much appreciated help!

Everyone who knows our mum knows that she is the kindest, most loving and most amazing woman to walk this earth. She would do anything for anyone and would give her last penny to a stranger so now it’s her turn to receive. We are asking anyone to please donate as little or as much as you can to help our mum and take away her worries of having to pay bills and support her with any medical needs now she is unable to work.

We love our mum more than anything in this world and we would just like to give her something back to remind her how much she is loved ❤️
