"Deciphering the Denisovans"
Donation protected
Help us fund the multidisciplinary symposium "Deciphering the Denisovans" at the next meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA) Cleveland OH, March 27-30 2019. We have until August 15th 2018 to raise funds to bring together some of the best expertise in the fields of genetics, paleoanthropology and archaeology.
We will learn more about this enigmatic archaic hominin group, together with Matthias Meyer, Joshua Akey, Emilia Huerta-Sanchez, Katerina Douka, Tom Higham, John Hawks, Maria Martinon-Torres, and many others.
We will discuss many aspects of this unprecedented discovery - from current archaeological projects in search for Denisovans - to the legacy that this species left in modern human genomes.
All donations will be used to cover travel expenses for our invited speakers with priority for early career scientists.
We will live stream and record the symposium; you will be able to watch it live, directly partecipate and ask questions to our speakers.
Don't miss this incredible opportunity!
Yes! You can make it happen!
We thank you in advance for your contribution and hope you will join us!
Importantly - if our symposium won't be selected by the AAPA committee, we will donate the money raised here to The Leakey Foundation to support research related to human origins.
