Declan Mooney's cancer journey

Hi all. My name is Jonathan Beach, I'm here asking for your help.

As a lot of you may know, my amazing brother in-law had testicular cancer surgery 2 months ago but unfortunately it hasn't all gone and he will be needing further treatment.

But before i get to far ahead of myself, let me tell you the situation they are facing.

Declan and Michelle Mooney are the best brother and sister in-law anybody could ask for. Anything they can do for you they will without hesitation and that's not easy to find.

Declan is the main bread winner in there household, He is self employed owning his own 1 man business "Decky's Household Services" and what a great company it is.

But unfortunately as he is going to have to start his chemotherapy treatment, he will be out of action for at least 6 months, if not more the doctors have said.

Being self employed he is not entitled to Social Welfare and there isn't any NHS here in Ireland so everything will have to be paid for by them.

I'm setting up this page to help them out with Medical bills, house hold bills and even travel costs.

They live in "the swan" in Laois but the treatment will be at Waterford hospital over a hour and a half away, and that is a lot of travelling and fuel costs for a couple that don't have the means.

Please Help in any way you can. It would mean the world to all the family.
