Hi,

My name’s Declan and this summer I will be travelling to my 3rd Underwater Hockey World Championships (in Kuala Lumpur) with the U24 Men’s Team. This is a self funded sport so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Instead of just asking for money for nothing in return, I thought I’d make it challenging.

After the UK Underwater Hockey finals (1st June) I plan to cycle from the pool we played the last age group world championships at in 2019 (Ponds Forge, Sheffield) to the airport we’ll be flying from (London Heathrow) which is approximately 300km within 24 hours, with a couple of friends Tom and Rupert.

Later that week, I will row an indoor marathon (42195m). Both of these will be a true test of bum endurance.

Hopefully this is impressive enough to convince you to donate to help me fund my goal of bringing home a gold medal.

I will be tracking the entire journey on Strava and will post photos of both workouts when complete.
