About the Film:

Savior Complex is a short film about a young superhero overwhelmed by her powers who joins a support group for help. Through this journey, she faces a life-changing decision and learns the importance of asking for help, putting herself first, and breaking the cycle of unnecessary self-sacrifice.

This film is an allegory for how we often help others while neglecting our own needs, a behavior driven by the pressures of societal expectations. In a world where we’re told to stay strong, it’s okay to admit when things are too much. We want this story to reach people who feel unseen or unheard and remind them that self-care is just as important as caring for others.
