Dee Seidel Needs Our Help

Hi, my name is Ed Reeves. I am the Audio Director at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living, in Encinitas, California. I'm Fundraising for Dee Seidel. Dee is a Practitioner at Seaside, and a member of our Video Crew as a Camera Operator, and an Assistant Video Director for our Sunday streaming service.

Due to the following surgeries, she has not been able to work much over the past two years.

Knee Surgery on her right knee to fix a meniscus injury, shoulder surgery on her right shoulder to fix a torn rotator cuff, hand surgery on her left hand to fix one of the trigger finger issues and carpal tunnel surgery. Recently she had another cortisone injection in her left and right hand for a new trigger finger issue.

On July 6th she will have another fusion back surgery.

She will continue discussions with the hand surgeon in September to hopefully avoid surgery on her right hand. The frustrating thing about the hand surgery is that it will be a while before she can type normally. Most of her work over the past 20 years has been as an Executive Assistant, requiring a lot of typing. Her one option, for now, is to find software with a speak-to- type function. Otherwise, she will have to find a new line of work.

Without any family, her income and support are solely on her.
