Deepak's Community Himalayan Dairy Business

Mr. Deepak Kumar Chamlagai, from Bhutan, is an aspiring Youth and today he is an inspiration for all the youth of Bhutan. He did his graduate from Royal Thimphu College. He started his journey as an entrepreneur from his college days. He and his team represented Bhutan for an international business idea competition which was held in Cambodia. Right after his college he went back to his home town and started with farming entrepreneur focusing on oyster mushroom cultivation. He kept his mushroom business Name as Shamu (mushroom) Kingdom. For the mushroom he has a three types of packaging Namely :
1. Mushroom gift box for tourism.
2. Mushroom grow box for gardener.
3. Mushroom box for general public.
With the mushroom he is also working on the project to come up with the Diary Product processing Unit which has a good scope in Bhutan. He will be a producer of wide variety of diary product in Bhutan. He kept Diary company name as Himalyan Diary. Himalyan diary will be dealing with a product such as:
1.Raw milk
2.yogurt
3.pannier
4.Butter milk
5.Cheese
6.Butter
When the business is in the phase of expansion he will be producing milk chocolate as well. He is planning to run this business with a unique selling point in the market. He has made all the plans to bring this great idea into reality but currently can not start a company because of the huge investment required to start. He is looking for Crowd funding from United state of America.
Objective to start this business are as follows
1. Helping a farmer to have a good source of income, by paying them a higher price for their milk.
2. Donating for animals and poor people who are in provety .
3. Creating Rural development and youth employment.
4. Encouraging the Youth to come back to their villages and start their own agricultural business.
The fundraising goal amount is set in at the estimated total cost from Deepak's business. He got this number from his business proposal, which was created from careful planning and research.

"Himalayan Dairy Product shall be a business producing dairy products by sourcing local resources and human talent by using organic production process. The business will target local markets within Tsirang Dzongkhag and will scale up to target the booming food and beverages market for dairy products located in major cities, i.e. Thimphu and Paro. Furthermore, the business plan’s to create a strong demand for the product by focusing on the products unique selling point of being organic, locally made existing products which is sold at a competitive price.
The business is projected to run into profit from the first year of operation and this trend is expected to continue for coming years. Himalayan Dairy Product shall leverage the governments initiate to promote import substitution by promoting cottage and small industries (CSI), avail financial support provided by the financial institutions by availing CSI targeted loans and create an enabling environment to learn and disseminate knowledge regarding dairy production within our communities helping fellow community members enhance their knowledge about diary production."
