Hello everyone. Im Dayasmine . Im the mom of 6 beautiful kids. You guys may know some if not all my kids. Nicholas, Emmanuel, Brandon, Brianna, Kaden and Kailani. This year has been an especially hard year for my family and I. I recently got divorced and moved to mansfield for a new beginning for me and the kids. We were welcomed in by many neighbors and friends in the Lexington community. Things were going good. My oldest (Nicholas) graduates from Lexington on sunday. In September he leaves to marines. On Tuesday May 23 at 5:30am an electrical fire happened in my house. We almost didnt make it due to smoke inhalation. The fire was in the wall of my room. The house filled with smoke as we were all asleep. I woke up when my puppies were pulling me and barking trying to wake me. I was disoriented for a minute and could barely breathe. I ran to my kids trying to wake them but none were very alert. The smoke had affected everyone. I dragged my kids causing them to wake up. With pjs and shoes we all ran out. We put the cats in my trunk and my kids and our hero puppies were in the car. We called 911 and the fire department came put. They had to rip a whole in the wall to put out the fire. Afterwards we were told our house isnt liveable as the electrical is still a problem .We were told we have to move. Just like that. We were told that all of our belongings that are ruined by standing water like my boys beds, dressers and alot of our clothes wont be replaced by the landlord. I was told he has only insurance for the house and that i need to figure out what i was going to do before the rest of my things got ruined. I didnt have renters insurance. This is my 1st place i ever had on my own with my kids. Up until a few days ago i didnt even know what that was. Red cross and a pastor neighbor put us in a hotel for a few days. And gave us food money for food. We have 3 days left to find a home. I am on a fixed income and I have no family. Please if you can help please donate or if you know of someone that can help by donating please spread the word. Every little bit helps. No donation is to small. Thank you in advance from me and my family
