It is with a heavy heart that Dee's own Halo angel wings appeared on Monday 22nd May 2023 surrounded by those dearest to her

Dee has fought the biggest battle to give her babies more memories.

CEO and Founder of Halo Team Inc., a not-for-profit charitable organisation in Mandurah, 70 kilometres south of Perth.

Dee, along with her husband and daughter gave up their weekends to feed over 300 people, even though it shorten their own precious time together they never stopped 24/7 to help those in need.

Over the past 4 years, Dee has endured high doses of heavy chemotherapy, radiation, and a double mastectomy. more chemo and radiation,

Just a night after being home from three weeks in the hospital, her body no longer had the strength to go on.

There is a financial burden on the whole family to pay for funeral costs, mortgage, bills etc.

Dee and her family supported and touched many people's lives, and now more than ever, they need support back. Every bit donated will make Kurt and the kid's lives a little easier.

January 2019 My Sister in law Dee, received the devastating news of triple-negative high-grade invasive ductal carcinoma, aka breast cancer. This type of breast cancer is not common and affects 10% of women worldwide. It is not receptive to hormone treatments, and it has very aggressive and rapid growth. Dee was then informed of the devastating news that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. Dee has an amazingly supportive husband, Kurt, who has been married for 18 years and has four beautiful children.

She started the Halo organisation in 2014, when she opened a transitional homeless shelter in response to a growing need for homelessness services. The services are provided by donations and funds received from the sale of second-hand items at the Halo Team Op Shop, the organisation's hub, located in central Mandurah. Dee has received many awards, including Local Legend.
