Defend Baldwinville's Health and Environment

Templeton Community Against Toxic Waste (TCATW) is a group. Looking out for the community and neighbors of Baldwinville and it's surrounding towns.

If the facility is allowed to come to our small town it is highly potentially would be a health risk to the community. If built it would be regulated in our state as solid waste disposal, and by the U.S. EPA as solid waste incineration. The primary output is flammable pyrolysis oil, to be transported to Virginia by rail through many other communities on its way to be refined into toxic fuels; little or no plastic actually recycled. The two major outputs are toxic gas and char. What’s left: toxic emissions, PFAS, micro-plastics…is in your air and water. Part of the supermajority of residents who value health, neighborhoods, and natural resources and oppose environmental pollution.
