Defend the 3 Fishermen's Environmental Efforts

Hi! My name is Mary Kay. I am raising funds to assist the 3 fishermen. They are avid fishermen in Cape Coral, Fl. The waters in Cape Coral Fl have been in serious decline. To help clean the waters around Cape Coral, the 3 fishermen became Petitioners in a case opposing the removal of the Chiquita Lock. The City hired a very aggressive law firm and the fishermen relied principally on pro bono lawyers. The City won. Now the City is trying to have the fishermen pay their attorney fees. The City thinks that this is a way to keep citizens quiet. This fundraising goal is to help the 3 residents retain an appellate attorney to fight the City of Cape Coral's aggressive tactics.
