Defend Elizabeth McEachern: Legal Support Needed

Please assist us in supporting Elizabeth McEachern, a well loved horse advocate and overall good human. She is experiencing the undue expense of having to obtain an attorney to represent herself in a ridiculous case of criminal charges from a person accusing her of untrue crimes.

This all started with Elizabeth rescuing a pony out of the street and returning it to its pasture. Both Elizabeth and others reported several horses at this property being underweight. The owner of the property took it as a smear campaign, and that Elizabeth asked people to trespass against her, which was not true. Help us defend Elizabeth.

Well, I’m now scheduled in criminal court on 11/19/24. I’m at the “I need an attorney” stage.

I have a clean record. I want to keep it. This is just a misdemeanor, but I don’t want any convictions on my record.

The attorney I consulted with said that if the “victim” shows up, we will probably have to go to trial, for the princely sum of $1600. ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

I’m not going in unrepresented, I feel that is not wise. And MANY friends who have followed this saga have offered to help, so I’m putting it out there now. I am willing and more than grateful to accept financial assistance.

It is insane (most common opinion) that I am going through this, but I have faith that eventually I will come out unscathed.
