By profession, I am a dedicated public servant working in finance, and in my spare time, I am a passionate financial literacy YouTuber and a social media activist against deceptive and unfair earnings claims. Today, I am reaching out to you with a significant matter that requires your support.

Recently, I came across a foreign multi-level marketing company that targets vulnerable people with its pyramid structure selling insurance and recruitment tactics. As a diligent content creator, I aim to provide accurate financial education and bring attention to deceptive practices. In response to this, I scrutinized their insurance product. It's presented as Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Investment, and even a Retirement plan. My analysis unveiled discrepancies in their claims, particularly their promise of an unrealistic 10% guaranteed gains year after year.

On December 2022, I released a video review discussing these concerns and offering insights and pessimism. I intended to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their financial choices. However, I faced unexpected legal challenges.

In August 2023, I was targeted with a Copyright Infringement and Unfair Business Practices lawsuit filed in a US Federal Court by an executive of the company, a foreign individual with no ties to the United States.

I have already spent $15,000 from my savings on legal representation. However, the financial burden is growing, and I am concerned that without proper defense, the implications of this lawsuit could extend beyond me. It could undermine fair use protections not only in the United States but worldwide, impacting content creators across diverse niches on platforms like YouTube, Facebook and even mainstream media.

In the country where the foreign entity resides, individuals can face up to 12 years of imprisonment for Cyberlibel. They have already silenced a lot of voices let's not allow them to extend their power into America. After all, America is meant to be the land of the free.
