Defending Our Religious Rights and Feeding the Needy

Dear supporters of religious freedom,

We need your help to defend our constitutional rights and continue serving the homeless and needy in our community. For the past six years, the state of Michigan and Kalamazoo County Health Department have unjustly restricted our ability to operate our church-owned nonprofit soup kitchen, God's Kitchen of Michigan.

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees our right to freely exercise our faith and prohibits government interference in religious practices. Additionally, the Fourteenth Amendment reinforces these protections at the state level. Despite these constitutional protections, we have faced ongoing harassment and unjust regulation that infringe upon our religious mission to serve the community.

To fight against this government overreach, we have launched this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for legal representation. We are committed to defending our religious freedom and ensuring that we can continue our crucial work of providing meals to those in need without intrusive government intervention.
