Amhara Cultural Promotion - #DefendMyCulture

I have launched a fundraising campaign to help cover advertisement costs and general expenses for the global promotion of the history and culture of the Amhara people. We've prepared material to share with the world about the history, culture, and civilization of the Amhara people of Ethiopia. Amhara people's identity and image worldwide have been affected by negative propaganda and the burial of Amhara people's contribution to world heritage. For decades, there has been disinformation, outright isolation, and obscuration of the Amhara people's history. By disseminating knowledge about the Amhara people's history and culture globally, we can reconnect with the world emotionally and influence the world's perspective on our people. Such work can create global support and alliances with the Amhara people, especially when our people are going through intense hardship and their voices have been silenced. The money raised will be used toward helping cover advertisement costs on social media to reach targeted audiences worldwide as well as to cover all and general expenses in our efforts to promote the history and culture of Amhara people. Data regarding the locations, the large number of people reached with our content globally, and their tens of thousands of comments and reactions will be publicized to show the engagement and change in perception and the contents that we spread globally.
