Defib dip for Ger
Donation protected
In memory of Ger Fennelly (RIP), who died tragically kitesurfing on Dollymount strand on 31st October 2020 as a result of a cardiac arrest - SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome).
As we approach the first anniversary of Ger's untimely death, his clubmates and friends from Piranha Triathlon Club along with his Kitesurfers would like to raise money for a defibrillator(s) to be placed along Dollymount strand.
Ger was a keen sportsman who participated in many triathlons globally including a full Ironman in Barcelona in 2018 and Escape from Alcatraz in 2019. Kitesurfing was a passion of his and he would often surf the waves on Dollymount.
We ask you to join us on Sunday, October 31st at 9:00am on Bull Wall (last grey shelter on the right) to dip into the sea and share our memories of Ger. Meeting point here.

Thank you.
