Defibrillator for Grassroots football

My name is Chris and I am the manager for Wrekin Juniors Lions U14’s and I’m doing a sponsored skydive to help fund a defibrillator for our grassroots football team.

In modern football we hear what feels like weekly occurrences of players collapsing from cardiac arrest, and we as a club have witness 2 occasions in the last 6 months where having a defibrillator on hand has revived players enabling them the vital time needed to get emergency services on hand.

As a team we train and play in remote locations where such devices are not always available, for the sake of a few hundred pounds this could be the difference between life and death for a player of our team or the teams we are playing, not to mention anyone at our games or nearby that should need this.
