Walter Lyon House Defibrillator Fund
Donation protected
Walter Lyon House is a supported housing project in Lancaster run by Acorn Recovery Projects. The residents are all people who have broken free from the chains of addiction. An important part of their journey is being able to give back to the community. They have fought hard to get their lives back on track and would now like to improve the lives of others, even save lives. The residents are going to do a sponsored event to raise money for a defibrillator which will be situated in Lancaster City Centre. They will climb Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. This activity engages with the five ways to wellbeing; give back, take notice, keep learning, be active & connect. Not only are there health benefits and personal development opportunities but also a huge contribution to the health and wellbeing of the wider community. Please give to this wonderful cause if you are able. We have a target of £1000 but would be grateful for any donations. The walk will take place in early April, weather permitting.
