Defibrillator in memory of Jon Holt
Donation protected
Hi, as many of you will know our dad died very suddenly 3 and a half years ago of a cardiac arrest. He was a fit and healthy 64 year old on his way back from training at the gym. He sadly had the cardiac arrest in his car so no one saw him to be able to try and help however there is no doubt that if they had and if a defibrillator had been on sight it could and probably would have saved his life. Steve and I love training, coaching and helping people get fit and improve their health and we would love the reassurance of having a defibrillator in our gym in case the worst ever happened. Not only would it help save a life of one of our clients but it would be so great to also provide a life saving tool for our street and community in Sidcup.
So in honour and memory of my dad on his 68th birthday I wanted to try and raise the money to buy one for our gym and our local community.
All extra money raised beyond the amount for the defibrillator will go towards setting up a free local group first aid class to raise awareness and learn life saving skills.
Any contribution would be so gratefully received.
