Defibrillators for Greater Manchester Independent School

On Saturday 21st September, members of GMIS staff and some of our friends will be taking part in the GMIS BIG Walk to raise money for life-saving defibrillators across all 3 of our sites. Securing this equipment will not only benefit our school, but also the wider communities in Failsworth, Marple and Northenden.

The BIG Walk will see our fundraisers setting off from our Marple site in the morning and walking to our Northenden site. This is a journey of 9.3 miles and should take around 3.5 hours! After taking on some much needed refreshments, the walkers will then set off to complete the trek at our Failsworth site (again another 9.3 miles and approx 3.5 hours!). In total, the walk will be 18.6 miles and should take around 8 hours to complete.
