My name is Janelle (Douglas)Smith.
This is a fundraiser for a lifelong very dear friend of mine Janet (Stiener)Kruger.
Janet grew up in Rock Rapids, Ia., graduated from Central Lyon High School in 1983 and continues to live in the community with her husband of 32 years -Jon Kruger.
As many of you may know, Janet has lived with an autoimmune disease called Lupus, which caused her to receive a kidney transplant in 1995, donated by her brother Joe.
Recently Janet developed a pnuemonia which has lead to many other health complications. She has been hospitalized and in the Intensive Care Unit at Sanford Hospital for several weeks now. This is a difficult time for her and her entire family emotionally and financially.
Jon and Janet have 2 daughters Kaela and Karrisa and 4-almost 5 grandchildren Trenton(10), Dancia(7),Gracelynn(4),Gage(2), and baby Hunter(due Feb. 14). Keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
