Del Posto Family Fund

Dear Friends,
This past Saturday, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, my team of over 200 and I were let go from our restaurant home, Del Posto.
As we all try to figure out how we can help one another during this difficult time, I have been trying to understand what I can do to help my team. Our livelihood has been put at stake; many on our staff live paycheck to paycheck.
For those of you who have dined with us, our team has always been the backbone of the restaurant. They are my second family. Together, we work tirelessly to bring you beautiful, gracious and delicious dining experiences. Serving, creating, cooking, and organizing a restaurant the size of Del Posto is no small feat. It takes an army of dedicated, hardworking professionals who show up every day to do their best.
It’s funny, restaurants are so many things to so many people. We may be where you met your spouse, or spent a holiday, or celebrated that big promotion, or wallowed in a bad day. We are many things to you, and we spend many hours working to evolve into something even greater for you.
Now we need your help. In other difficult times, my restaurant family would turn to one another for help. However, the reality of the current situation is that we cannot. With that in mind, we look to you for support and generosity.
All donations will go directly to all of our hourly employees who have been impacted by the restaurants closure. This includes our, prep cooks, receivers, butchers, bread bakers, line cooks, porters, back and front waiters, captains, and reservationists.
It's hard to ask, but now is the time we need you. Please help us by making a donation.
As always, the Del Posto team wishes you good health and safety. We look forward to opening our doors to host you soon.
All the best,
Melissa Rodriguez and Team
