Restoring the Delft

Donation protected
Visit www.facebook.com for pictures and updates of what we are trying to restore and bring back to the community. We are close to the finish line and I feel full transparency will help the Gofundme drive succeed. We paid $70,000 for the building and my family and I invested $90,000 cash into the main roof repair, all gas lines replaced, entrance restoration and drywall/painting, water damaged (sat vacant 9 years) floor replaced, some water pipes replaced and some asbestos abatement in basement to allow gas company to bring new gas lines in as old one was underground and not up to code and some balcony remodel into my kids and I apartment. We opened as an event hall rental only on a shoestring budget and the main furnace went out. In order to generate sufficient revenue we want to open an upscale wood fired pizza restaurant and espresso year round and Memorial Day to Labor Day serve gelato (Italian ice cream) and our fenced in courtyard humans will be allowed to bring their dogs and enjoy gelato/coffee outdoors. We also want to bring live music and comedians to the Delft, the acoustics are amazing. We have an organ that was built in 1925 in Oshkosh WI being restored and installed at the Delft and we plan on having phantom of the opera and Black and White silent movies that had an organ played along with it at the Delft. We also plan on having murder mysteries, dinner theaters and karaoke/comedy nights to black tie art showings with wine tastings. I was talked into the GoFundMe drive as a chance to do all these cool things because my plan B is to turn the Delft into indoor storage as that doesn't need a furnace. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will help achieve our goal of opening what I explained above. I am giving the GoFundMe drive until spring to see if the goal is met and we can open.
