Deli Board robbed and ransacked
Donation protected
Adam Mesnick is a crucial, valued member of the San Francisco community. He owns a small business in the challenging SOMA neighborhood -- the award-winning Deli Board - and provides well-paying jobs to people looking for work. He also takes care of countless people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues, giving food to the hungry and ensuring that those who require medical care receive treatment.
On January 28, 2022, thieves broke his gate, smashed his door's glass, and stole his cash register, payment system tablet, and many other items necessary to operate. Adam can't reopen until everything is repaired and replaced. In the meantime, his employees are out of work.
Please help the Deli Board resume business ASAP. Insurance does not cover everything, and, like most restaurants, he operates on very slim margins.
San Francisco needs Adam Mesnick - a kind and gracious man who has made a positive impact in his district. Even a small donation will go a long way. Let's prove that this city - this country - truly cares about small business owners.
