Delicioso Mexicano

My name is Adrian Antonio and I’m a certified chef and horticulturist. And those that know me, know I love plants, my succulents and cacti, and of course cooking Mexican food.

This past year I’ve been offering Mexican cooking classes, selling tamales, and hosting the only of its kind, my Mexican Supper Club.

I’ve also been busy with my gardening business, Succulent Muchacho. Working with my local community and garden clubs, presenting cacti and succulents creations. And taking care of people’s gardens.

And during the first part of the year I work full time as a school photographer, which I absolutely love!

Finally, I decided to really focus on one of my many passions, which is cooking my Mexican food. I’ve received so much positive feedback from the community and it’s really given me the confidence to embark on this new journey!

Looking into what it takes to run a full time food business, I decided that the best route for me was to buy a food cart. Something simple, small and mobile.

Like the famous show “Laura en America” I’m getting:

“UN CARRITO SANDWICHERO!” (IYKYK)

I'm setting a goal of having my food cart up and running by December 2023. I created a list of the items I need to use for my cooking. Many of you have bought my tamales, tacos, salsas, and even attended my supper club, and I am truly thankful for the support.

I created this fundraiser to give my friends and family from all over the world, a chance to be part of my dream, to run a small Mexican food business. And we know it ain’t cheap, especially when you live in Aussie, but I am ready for the next big step. I want to convert more Aussies to real Mexican food!

I will be updating you all with the progress of my food journey. As of now, I have applied for permits to my local council and got the thumbs up from my local community kitchen. Now all I need is some equipment!
