During our travels, we had the chance to visit the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital, and it left a lasting impression on us. Seeing firsthand how devastating the wildfires have been for these beautiful creatures was truly heartbreaking. As outsiders, we wanted to do more than just witness their struggle—we wanted to take action. That’s why we’re using our platform to raise funds and awareness for the hospital’s incredible work.

For over 50 years, the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital has been a lifeline for injured and displaced koalas. But their mission doesn’t stop there. Through the Guulabaa – Place of Koala initiative, they’ve launched the world’s first Wild Koala Conservation Breeding Program. This groundbreaking effort combines expert veterinary care, genetic preservation, habitat restoration, and education to safeguard the future of koalas in the wild.
