Delta Amidzovski journey to the U20's World Champs
Donation protected
For years, the Illawarra and NSW have known about the raw talent of Delta. Now it's time for the whole of Australia and the world to see how incredibly gifted this young woman is. Hi, my name is Greg Gillett. I have been privileged to know Delta and the Amidzovski family on a personal level for over 10 years. I have witnessed Delta’s athletics journey from a very young age. She has sacrificed so many things to be where she is today. She is a very talented, humble and dedicated athlete in her sport. Over the years she has achieved so many outstanding results at local, state and national levels. The time has come that this athlete will represent the country while proudly wearing the green and gold for the first time. She has been selected to represent Australia at the World Under 20 Athletics Championships in Cali, Columbia in August for the Women’s 100m hurdles event. Delta will be the youngest Australian Athlete in the team at just 15 years old which is a remarkable achievement.
