Dementia Doulas Australia is a registered charity and on behalf of myself and our team, I would like to thank you for your support in helping us fund important initiatives for families impacted by dementia. Thanks to your generosity, we will continue creating opportunities for building and fostering a community-centred approach that ensures families have ongoing access to the services, counsel and support of a Dementia Doula from time of diagnosis through to time of bereavement.

We have brought to life a concept we knew would make a tangible difference in the lives of families by supporting the creation of an individualised support network around them that will be there for the good days, the bad and all that falls in between. We want to ensure families are better prepared for the challenges dementia brings and importantly, leave no one behind.

Funds raised will go directly towards bringing to life initiatives at a local community level that empower and enable families impacted by dementia to be better prepared in taking back control. By putting families back in the drivers seat and providing the guidance they need, we will create a community that will better inform service provision from both a community and higher care perspective while meeting the everyday needs of family members along the way.
