Dementia UK - We Are In This Together

My name is Tomas Yates and I will be completing a half marathon on Sunday 21st July to help raise funds to go towards Dementia UK. I will also be completing a marathon and further fitness events for this charity! Why?? Well me and my family have suffered through 2 occasions of dementia and it’s an awful experience to go through, so my goal is to not only raise funds but also awareness for this heartbreaking condition. Its important to me as both my Granddads had dementia and watching them go through that period and how it affected my family too is enough for me to want to raise awareness for families who may be going through this too.
