We’re Peter Geoghegan and Lucas Amin, two award-winning journalists. We set up Democracy for Sale less than a year ago - but already our investigations on dark money and hidden influence have reached millions and been covered by the Guardian, the Times, FT, the Mirror and many other outlets.

We’ve exposed the links between oil and gas interests, secretive think tanks and political parties. We've forced changes to the rules on lobbyists in Parliament. We've launched court cases to end government secrecy. And we're just getting started.

Now, we need your help. We're a tiny operation, just two journalists doing what we can. We’ve got tons more leads to chase down - but we urgently need to bring in more people with specialised skills to help do this.
