La Fundación Cultural Alma Llanera, se solidariza con esta noble causa en apoyo a Ana Florencia Gómez, hija de nuestra fundadora María Elena Echeverría de Gómez, y quien recientemente fue diagnosticada con un carcinoma ductal infiltrante de grado 2 en la clasificacion de nottingham en su seno izquierdo, por lo que además de requerir tratamiento de quimioterapia, debe ser intervenida quirúrgicamente para poder extraer el tumor.
Ana, es una mujer joven y trabajadora de 47 años, madre de dos hijos adolescentes, vive en Caracas, Venezuela, y como todos conocemos, la situación en el sistema de salud actual es bastante precaria, por lo que resulta imposible poder atenderse en hospitales públicos y está obligada a optar por la medicina privada para poder cubrir todos sus gastos médicos y recuperar al 100% su salud.
El tumor de Ana está en un grado 2 y debe ser extraído de inmediato para evitar su ramificación. Ella actualmente está en fase de diagnósticos y exámenes que permitirán conocer la naturaleza del mismo y que pueda recibir el tratamiento adecuado para eliminar todas las células cancerígenas de su cuerpo y poder retomar el ritmo de su vida al lado de sus dos hijos.
Ninguna ayuda es pequeña, todo aporte es necesario e inmensamente agradecido no sólo por la Fundación sino por toda la familia Gómez Echeverría, que a pesar de enfrentar esta dura situación sin contar con los recursos necesarios, está convencida de que no es más que una prueba que fortalecerá la Fe a través de la buena voluntad de muchas personas que extenderán su mano amiga y solidaria. Ana, is a young, working woman of 47 years old, mother of two teenagers, lives in Caracas, Venezuela. As we all know, the situation in the current health system is quite precarious, so it is impossible to be able to attend in public hospitals and she is forced to opt for private medicine to be able to cover all her medical expenses and recover 100% of her health.
Ana's tumor is at a grade 2 and must be removed immediately to avoid its ramification. She is currently in the phase of diagnosis and examinations that will allow her to know the nature of the tumor and the appropriate treatment to eliminate all the cancerous cells in her body and be able to resume her normal life with her sons.
No help is small, every contribution is necessary and immensely grateful not only for the Foundation but for the entire Gómez Echeverría family, who in spite of facing this difficult situation without having the necessary resources, are convinced that it is no more than a test that will strengthen the faith through the good will of many people who will extend their hand in friendship and solidarity.
