It’s took a while to write this down without crying but Denice was not only my coworker she was my therapists (good listener), shopping buddies (shopping on-line at New York and Company), Best friend (since she started at URS). She was my go to girl (knew everything and everybody). She tells you how it is, if you like or not but it was always the truth. Me and Mike had lunch with her on Friday the 13th last day in the office. If I knew it was going to be the last time I was going to see her, I would’ve told her, love you Denice and thank you for being such a good friend. The office is not gonna be the same without our Shining star

Denise was my buddy in making arts and crafts. She inspired me to crochet and gave me a lot of ideas how to make baby and adult hats. She even encourage me to make baby shoes and baby blanket which i never done before. She made a lot of beautiful adult crochet headbands and baby hats and shoes that she donated to the hospital. She had a big heart to share and donate whatever she can to make other people happy. I was one of them that she shared whatever she thought i would enjoy making. She was always thorough with her work at the office and she was a very pleasant person to work with. I will surely miss her smile and our laughs together. Denise was an inspiration.

I knew Denise from our URS days and she has always been friendly and someone who you could joke around with, who always looked out for our security group we considered her a part of the group. I last spoke to her the Sunday before she died, like Cathy says, "who knew that we would not see her again". Some souls past thru your life that you are happy and lucky to have known, she was one of them. rest in peace Denise.
